Elsa

Hi Sharon,

Everything is going GREAT!!! Elsa learns so fast. She still hasn't had any house accidents. She knows sit and wait, is walking on the loose leash with little or no difficulty. She has a real good start on leave it and down. She is sleeping in our bedroom with the crate door open. At meal time she sits and waits patiently while I make her food ,then she waits until I tell her she can have it before she eats. I am amazed at how fast she learns at only 11 weeks old. We haven't started puppy class yet, the last class started May 5th so we will start 6 weeks after that. We are working on the basics every day at home. We have also been to junior high school, and to visit friends with dogs, so we won't miss out on socialization until class starts. She is such a mellow puppy, we could not have gotten a better fit. Thank you so much for all the hard work it takes to breed and raise such a wonderful puppy. We all love her and could not be happier with your choice for us.

Samson

Hi Sharon,

My extended family and I are all loving Samson so much! I just got back from his well puppy check up and the vet said Samson’s demeanor made him feel like crying! The vet was so happy for me because he knew what a tough time I had been through with my sick Doberman puppy.

Samson is absolutely the best puppy I have ever had the privilege of having in my family. Samson sleeps through the night in his crate and during the day he is already my little buddy and follows me everywhere. He is friendly with my other dogs and cat and loves meeting new people. Samson is alert and checks out new sounds and is practicing being the guardian I wish him to be. Each day, Samson is happy to be at my feet or ready to take a walk when I am.

…And did I say how ‘smart’ Samson is??? He learned how to ‘sit’ the first night with me. Also, he is easy on the leash and comes when I call him -  not bad for under 11 weeks!

You did such a great job with this litter of puppies. Your love for what you do shows forth through Samson. Maybe someday you can help me pick a “Delilah” …

Hugs and many thanks-
Lori & family

Circe

This is Valerie and our new puppy, Circe. She is our 5th GSD. Circe came to us so healthy and happy it was hard to believe she was 9 weeks old! We so appreciate the love and hard work you put in to make her the best puppy she could be and give us such a head start on helping her become the amazing dog she will be!

Skeeter

Hi Sharon,

I just had to write to tell you what a wonderful addition Sketer is to our family. At 8 months old, he is quite well behaved and has a wonderful temperament. We enjoy our daily walks, trips to the dog park and our training classes. People often stop us to comment on what a beautiful and well-behaved dog he is. He is incredibly healthy and strong, and his soft fur is like hugging a teddy bear. From the youngest grand child to our neighbors, he is quite popular. Thank you for taking such care in your breeding practices. It really shows in dogs like Sketer!

Teague

Working with Sharon was an absolute delight. Her breeding program focusing on excellent personality and behavior along with classic physical characteristics is obviously among the best in the northwest. The degree of care and concern she shows extends not only to proper whelping and early puppy development but also to a keen assessment of suitable pairings between prospective owners and the individuals within a given litter. In our case, she had picked out who we were likely to want as early as the 5th week based on our our prior experience with the breed. Her choice was absolutely correct and our Teague is everything we sought. If you are serious about GSD's, you won't find a more dedicated breeder who is both dog and people-oriented. We are delighted to endorse her and will always be available to give personal references for Sharon

Memphis

Hi Sharon,

Memphis is doing great. He is getting so big. At just a little over 7 months he weighs 75 pounds. He is so happy and energetic all the time. His training is going well. Erin and I are also looking at more training for him soon. I hope all the other pups are doing great, as I'm sure they are. As for another litter, I would definitely stick with Echo and Gordy. What beautiful children they make!

Just a side note, one funny thing that Memphis does is when he yawns; sometimes his upper lip gets caught on his gums resulting in a very funny smile.....

Sienna

Hi Sharon,

Sienna has been a joy! She’s amazingly intelligent, alert, energetic, and responsive. She’s been a great companion for Bentley, and the two of them together are an endless source of laughs. Although he’s older and has 40 pounds on her, she has the speed, wit, & resourcefulness to be the boss. Plus she WANTS it more than he does—she can be very stubborn and she wears him down. She’s in great health and has had no problems to speak of. When we had her spayed, she weighed 68 pounds—so the runt of the litter has grown a lot! The biggest problem with her spaying was that we were supposed to keep her laying low for two weeks, but the day after surgery, she acted like nothing had happened. It was a long two weeks! Fortunately, we’re beyond that now and she’s romping at full speed. Speaking of playing, her favorite games are tag and keep away (she does the keeping away). She’s really fast and sneaky and loves to make up new games (mainly to frustrate Bentley). Anyway, she’s been a great dog. She bonded with us really quickly & easily, and she’s a treasured member of the family. Hope you have a very happy Thanksgiving.

Luna

Hi Sharon !!!

Luna is such a dream... She's awesome Sharon... I just love her more and more each day - she's such a 24 hour companion to me... she is so smart too - she has these hillarious pouncy downs that are really fast and then she bursts into the air upon release - and her recalls are zooming with her ears flat back and just blasting to me... sigh... how in love can I be :)... Luna is a GREAT swimmer... she'll swim fast after another dog in the pool here and fetch toys... you really made the most incredible puppies Sharon... if all continues to progress - you must repeat the litter and your prior people can sell them for you :)... Luna is a great cuddler too - more than any other dog I have ever had... she buries her nose under my hair and falls asleep at night... she's so cute... she is the most perfect puppy for Cindy.... she's the greatest constant companion... she uses her hands too much :)... I tell her she's not an Italian Shepherd but she loves to express herself with her paws... she's protective and appropriate in what she feels is potentially unsafe and listens to me for every cue... she is incredible. We are such a team - - thank you again for my most beloved puppy...

Grace

Hello Sharon,

Gracie is watching me as I write this, laying beside me. We consider her our little clown, she entertains us and makes us laugh. As a training partner for me in competition obedience it is very easy to motivate her with toys or food. Her ability to understand is wonderful and she tries very hard to please me. I am looking forward to many years of training and showing her in different venues. We have already done some tracking and she loved it and so did I. She is not as hectic as some of the tracking dogs I have had in the past, that is a big help as I get older.

Hugs, Paula and Gracie (Bill too of course along with Mandy, Chance and little Scott the BC)

Anja

Anja is an absolutely fantastic dog. Not only is she gorgeous she is healthy, playful, and affectionate. She has not yet met a person she did not like. Anja, also loves to tease and play "rope" with my rescue dog Cass. We are still working on her keeping all four feet on the floor and not standing up to kiss new people as she meets them.

Cairo and Oskar

Hi Sharon,

Just wanted to tell you, again, how wonderful these dogs are! It's been 5 weeks with our new baby and the dogs are fantastic. They were a little unsure at first. Cairo was very interested but Oskar would stay away as much as possible. Now - they are like my live in nannies. I don't even need a baby monitor because they come running when he cries. They will lay next to him when he's on the floor to keep him warm. They are always checking on him when he's sleeping. I think that Oskar is still a little bit unsure or unhappy about it all. I just don't force the issue - I never "made" them visit - when they come over to sniff, I don't get excited or upset, I pet them while I'm holding the baby so that they don't get jealous and it's been great. I think that my son will grow up with two wonderful companions at his side! Take care!

Sophie

Sharon -

Here it is the new year and I wanted to let you know how happy we are with our little Sophie. As you remember, she was born the first of July and we took her home in September. We were looking for a dog that would be a companion and would do well with other animals and children. We are happy to report she is all of that and more. From the first, she was sleeping through the night in her crate, going outside to do her business and a joy to have in the house. I am very grateful to you for the training and socializing you did before she came to us. We remember raising children and we thought long and hard about whether we were willing to spend the time and effort it would take to raise and train a puppy. You were such a help with the books you advised us to read, and all the tips you gave and still give us. We have tried to follow most of your suggestions and consequently, we have a healthy eager pup that is a pleasure to live with. She loves to run the open space on our property and she quickly learned the basics of heel, fetch, sit, come and stay. At your recomendation we have enrolled her in obedience classes designed for the breed and she is on her second set. We could not be happier with the sweet loving pup you helped us select and we look forward to years of good times with her.
