Brinx is heading towards his 11th birthday. He continues to enjoy excellent health on every level. He's confident, smart, protective but reasonable, and he's one of the most sound characters I've had the joy to know. He has great drive, but his temperament is solid and confident. This is very important to his owner, Fran Jewell, who raises and trains Service Dogs. Her dogs must be calm, confident and motivated to work with their human partners. Dogs from this home will become assist dogs for the blind, the hearing impaired, and other disabled owners. Brinx has 2 fabulous littermates, Baewulf is a Certified Hearing Assistance dog, working and living with his human in Bellevue, WA, and his sister, Brekka, is a 2 x International Champion. The talent and good looks run in the family, and Brinx, the pride and joy of the household, has a future of his own titles ahead of him. His impressive pedigree speaks for itself and has, indeed, created a dog of outstanding caliber.

Brinx has plenty of herding instinct, and lots of prey drive, but is a sensible and thoughtful animal, who has a great desire to please. According to Fran, who is a Trainer and a Canine Behavior Consultant with accomplishments of her own too long to list here, Brinx has been a dream to train. He is talented, willing and courageous, whether it be on the training grounds, learning to herd the sheep, out hiking and camping, or calmly answering to his owner at home.
